Nobody is the perfect all-rounder! In much the same way as it is impossible for a dentist to carry out eye surgery although he/she is a trained doctor, there are far too many specialist areas – e.g. medical, financial, technical, legal, sports and literature – for a translator to be able to deliver excellent professional results in all of them.
