All specialist translators have their own field of expertise
Translators normally develop a preference for certain subjects, either because of their supplementary training or due to previous experience. These subjects naturally become their own very special fields of expertise. Specialist translators are particularly well informed in their field of expertise and have usually already built a huge terminology database.
Most translators focus on professional specialist translations in their fields of expertise. Nevertheless, they are also capable of translating similar, related texts with the same level of professionalism and quality.
